Mother's Day EVENT – "Seed to Bloom to Bouquet" series with Great Blue Farms
Get out with Mom for this 3 part workshop series! Perfect for Mother's Day, you will both learn how to grow your own cut flower garden. Start your own seeds, grow your blooms, and create a bouquet and centerpiece from your bounty! There are only 8 spaces available for this physically-distanced event, so reserve your spot early!
Each event day runs from 10am-12pm at 109 Main St. Canton with Jodie McCord from Great Blue Farms, and light refreshments and drinks are included in the ticket price! Your $15 deposit saves your place, and the remainder of the $95 ($80) is due at the first class. Jodie is a farmer/florist with a life long passion for gardening, flowers and plants. She dreamed of following in her grandparents’ footsteps by farming their tobacco farm someday. With the help of her mother, Susie Denny Beasley, and having generations of flower lovers in her family, Jodie felt flowers would be the perfect crop. Jodie is a native of Macon Co. North Carolina, a master gardener, received a landscape and horticulture certification from Midlands Technical College and has attended many farm and floral design workshops and conferences.
